I guess we know why ABC didn't find any wrong doing in its recent report, all those troublesome teens were stuffed in a closet somewhere. The good news is, at least during inspections, the 16 year old employees got more than one break a day. A new American Customer Satisfaction Index report says that customer satisfaction is up by 0.1%. Online retailers like Amazon and Newegg top the satisfaction chart with a 85% rating and above. "The good news is that customer satisfaction continues to climb, which has a positive effect on consumer demand and growth," says Claes Fornell. "Still, the ACSI improvement is tepid, and much of the fourth quarter gain comes from positive consumer reaction to lower gas prices. I guess one of the benefits of buying Motorola is being automatically added to lawsuits filed by Microsoft. That has to suck for Google but I'm sure they'll be okay, the company seems to know its way around a courtroom. "Microsoft said that Motorola asked it to pay a royalty of $22.50 for a laptop computer worth $1,000 for its use of 50 Motorola patents that apply to a video technology standard. It said that this compares to a 2 cent royalty charged by a group of 29 companies that offer the use of more than 2,300 patents for products following the same video standard." Comments...
